Dining & Entertainment in Sihanoukville

Dining

Sihanoukville Dining - Next to Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville serves up some of the best foreign and local cuisines in Cambodia. Quality ingredients and authentic preparation are hallmarks of Sihanoukville cooking at western and Cambodian places alike. And, of course, the emphasis is on seafood. The fresh crabs, giant prawns, ocean fish and squid are all excellent. Many of the Chinese and Khmer places have live seafood on display for you to choose. In addition to the specialty category they are listed under, most of the listed restaurants also serve international dishes.

Entertainment

Sihanoukville Bars and Nightlife - Sihanoukville is a town that knows how to party and there is absolutely no shortage of bars and nightspots. Several sports bars dot ‘the strip’ along Ekareach St. downtown, at least a couple of them staying open all night. A mixture of friendly little budget places, a couple of sports and music bars, and growing number of hostess bars line the top Weather Station Hill. And there is a party of some sort almost every night at one or more of the beachside bars, especially on ‘Serendipity Beach.’ Watch for fliers announcing the latest parties, sporting events and happy hour specials.

Bars and clubs

All bars and clubs are open daily and close at midnight unless otherwise stated.

Angkor Beer Discotheque Boray Kamakor St. Teenage Khmers giving it large to techno and Europop.

Biba Nightclub Hun Sen Beach Drive, Dom Thmei Village. Popular Khmer disco, a little way out of town.

Blue Storm Ekareach St. The nightclub for really loud Khmer, Thai and other Asian music.

Fishermans Den Sopheakmongkol East, off Ekareach St near Caltex. Bustling rooftop girly bar, with satellite TV. Closes when the last punter leaves.

Mambos Golden Lions Roundabout. Western-oriented nightclub, especially popular at weekends when Western DJs are in town.

Moonshine Sopheakmongkol West, just around the corner from the Angkor Arms. The best late-night place in town – a pleasant rooftop bar with eclectic music. Daily 3pm–3am.
